Compound guides carry a grade set from the literature. Sourcing explainers cover documentation and assay methods. Field notes report what changed. The rule itself is published so it can be checked.

Sequence and origin, mechanism by pathway, findings by body system, an evidence table, safety including what is unknown, US regulatory status and numbered limitations.
Sourcing and quality
How to read a certificate of analysis, what HPLC and mass spectrometry each establish, why lot traceability is the check most suppliers fail, and what a purity percentage does not tell anyone.
Field notes
Short posts when a paper is published, a regulation changes or a citation is retracted — each stating the effect on the affected grade, including when the effect is none.
The grading rule
Four grades, one published test each, applied uniformly. A grade describes the state of the literature. It is not a rating and not a recommendation.
Most of it has never been tested in a person.
Twenty-nine of sixty-eight guides carry the lowest grade in the system, and four of those carry it as a floor rather than a finding — compounds with no study at any level, in any system, graded Preclinical because there is nothing lower.
A library that reports the literature honestly will look lopsided, because the literature is lopsided. A library that looks balanced is telling you something about its editor rather than about the evidence.
What changed, and what did not.
FDA Category 2 listing and what it does not mean
A Category 2 designation excludes a substance from compounding on safety-characterisation grounds. It is not a finding of harm, and it is not a finding of efficacy either.
A second group reports the MOTS-c metabolic finding
First independent replication outside the originating laboratory. Grade unchanged — replication in mice does not create human data.
Epithalon study count revised down from 19 to 14
Five records were conference abstracts rather than peer-reviewed papers and should not have been counted. Corrected and logged.

Arkham Labs is a publication and sells no compounds. It earns a commission from the suppliers below. That is exactly why the checks come first, and why they apply to those suppliers as strictly as to any other.
Identity
A mass-spectrometry result confirming the expected molecular weight for the specific lot in hand — not a generic specification sheet reused across batches.
Purity
An HPLC chromatogram for that same lot, with the trace published rather than a single summary percentage. A number without a trace is an assertion.
Traceability
The lot number printed on the vial matches the lot number on the certificate. Where it does not, the certificate describes different material.
