A library that reports the literature honestly will look lopsided, because the literature is lopsided. A library that looks balanced is telling you something about its editor rather than about the evidence.

Identity

A mass-spectrometry result confirming the expected molecular weight for the specific lot in hand — not a generic specification sheet reused across batches.

Purity

An HPLC chromatogram for that same lot, with the trace published rather than a single summary percentage. A number without a trace is an assertion.

Traceability

The lot number printed on the vial matches the lot number on the certificate. Where it does not, the certificate describes different material.
